If they did, they may have seen the strange events of the last race on Friday, where Falcon's victory was interrupted by a brain in a jar, traveling by giant purple death bubble. And then some other stuff happened and everything was broadcast on intergalactic television and Sega ruined F-Zero forever.

[SO. At first, Ionia totally wasn't even gonna watch the Grand Prix because she was so mad at Papa. But c'mon, it's the Grand Prix. She couldn't not watch. She caved after like, ten minutes. Gosh it sure is lucky she didn't miss Krang's redneck NASCAR brother showing up.]

Falcon didn't know Fox very well, but at the very least knew of him. He wasn't one to turn down students popping in on his office hours anyway, unless the student was someone like Char. Which Fox was not. He hoped.

"Sure, come on in. Fox, right? What's up?"
